The Labouchère system (also called 'Cancellation' or 'Split Martingale') was created by Henry Labouchère, a 19th-century British aristocrat passionate about gambling. Principle: The sequence [1-2-3-4] represents UNITS. Your bet = sum of the FIRST + LAST numbers × unit value. If you WIN, eliminate those two numbers. If you LOSE, add the units lost to the END. How it works in the app: • Your 'starting bet' = your FIRST bet • The app automatically calculates the unit value • Example: Starting bet €5 with sequence [1-2-3-4] → Unit = €1 • Example: Starting bet €2 with sequence [1-2-3-4] → Unit = €0.40 Goal: Eliminate all numbers in the sequence to win the sum of starting numbers × unit value.
